I don't want it to break the game, so that I'm far too overpowered to enjoy it, but I do want enough of that it isn't impossible to finish in the few hours I'm not working/living available to me. Basically, I'm looking for a way, or an easier way (I've failed to find a way to do it, but that might be because I'm in ignorance), to modify the values of xp/skill points.
So, longer story slightly shorter, I uninstalled the paid version, and downloaded 1.01 modded so that it would not have the security check, and I realized that the grinding was quite a bit more difficult to do than it was when I was 18 and in college. Unfortunately, Square/Enix still have not learned that their pirate detection only burdens those of us that have actually paid for the game, since the first thing mod/hacks do is getting rid of the security detection/requirements to be online. Anyway, so I purchased it for the 20 dollars, knowing how wonderful the game was. Have you tried cheating this game? What happened?: I was able to get gold, nada for skill points and xpĬomments: So I dont normally request hacks/mods/etc, but I recently purchased Dragon Quest VIII, if nothing else because it was the first RPG I got REALLY into as an adult back when it was released on PS2.
